The Hamilton Series by Corsicana Bedding is part of the Premum InnerSprings collection. This collection features mattresses using reversing (alternating) offset coils. These models also have several comfort layers of various materials to smooth out the innerspring support and to achieve the desired comfort level.


The reversing offest coils used in Corsica Bedding Hamilton Series Mattrresses is VertiCoil, made by Leggett & Platt, a company now better known for its adjustable beds. Each row of these reversing (or alternating) offset coils are made from a single wire.

The coils are called "offset" since a coil is connected to one at the bottom and another at the top, making each coil a part of two distinct pairs. The offset design allows each pair of coils to respond to the sleeper's weight independently from the next pair to tailor support to the body's contours. This helps keep the spine properly aligned, and also relieves pressure points.

They are called "reversing" because in each pair of coils, one turns to the right and the other to the left. Alternating rotation counters any tendency for coils to lean one way, since the other coil in a pair tends the opposite direction. This is to prevent mattress twist or leaning and roll-together.

Foam encasement provides edge support for the entire mattress.

The three Hamilton models share soft cotton cover knit fabric on top with piped edges, the 460 coil count reversing offset innerspring, and a 2" HD support foam base layer on the bottom. Where they differ is in the comfort layers. The Hamilton Firm has 1.5" of quilting foam in the quilted cover and 1" of comfort foam. Hamilton Plush has 1.5" of Ultrasoft foam and 2" of comfort foam. And the Hamilton Pillowtop adds Quilt Fill fiber filling to the cover quilting with 2" of Ultrasoft and has a 2" comfort foam layer. In the Pillowtop, the top layer is constructed as a sewn-on topper. The heights of these models are 11" for Firm, 12" for Plush, and 12.5" for Pillowtop.

The recommended support for the Corsicana Hamilton series mattresses is the Deluxe Zero Deflection Foundation. These models carry a 10-year prorated warranty.
