Costco Novaform Mattresses
Novaform memory foam mattresses are made for
Costco members-only warehouse stores by
Sleep Innovations.
Novaform models are sold not only in stores and online by
Costco, but also on Amazon. Model-for-model, the Amazon prices are higher, indicating that the sellers on Amazon probably get them wholesale from
Costco. However, this makes these mattresses available to non-members.
The
memory foam and
polyurethane foam used in these mattresses is made by (or especially made for)
Sleep Innovations. Engineered for their roles in the mattresses, these foams include Gel Memory Foam, infused with beads of micro-encapsulated gel for heat dissipation,
SureTemp™ Memory Foam with open-cell aeration,
Luratex®, a more elastic form of memory foam for resilience, and high-density polyurethane foam for base support.
Costco currently carries nine
Novaform mattresses and five
Novaform mattress toppers. he mattress models are:
Novaform 14" Primafina Gel Memory Foam,
Novaform 14" Altabella Memory Foam,
Novaform 13" Rhythm Memory Foam,
Novaform 13" Encore Memory Foam,
Novaform 14" Serafina Gel Memory Foam,
Novaform 12" Valentina Memory Foam,
Novaform 12" FlexTech Memory Foam,
Novaform 14" Gel Memory Foam, and in Canada
Novaform® Pure Comfort Memory Foam Mattress. There are at least four earlier models which are no longer available.
The cover of each
Novaform is
matelassé [mat•la•SAY], fabric which is woven and/or stitched to have the look and feel of quilting. In some of the models, the matelassé is actually quilted for additional softness.
The average firmness level of
Costco Novaform models is Medium Plush to Plush (6.29 on a scale of 10). These mattresses are compressed and packaged for shipping and delivery. The warranty is for 20 years.
