Cotton Chic 8

The fourth memory foam mattress model in the Toscana Collection by Magniflex is Cotton Chic 8, which replaces the Bamboo Chic of the the previous lineup. This is a low mattress—only 8"—and it is the simplest in this collection. The three features of the Cotton Chic 8 are the organic cotton cover, the hypoallergenic fiber padding, and the Ecogreen support core. This is also the firmest of the Toscana mattresses, with a comfort level of Firm.

Organic cotton is the fiber used in the stretch-knit cover of the Cotton Chic 8, replacing the bamboo fibers in the Bamboo Chic. It is drawn from cotton plants which have been grown without pesticides or chemical fertilizers. This makes it free from potentially harmful substances.

The band of fabric around the sides of the Cotton Chic 8 is sculpted into a 3-dimensional pattern. This forms air pockets to allow trapped moisture to evaporate and exit through the breathable fabric.

Under the cover is ½" of hypoallergenic fiber. This is comfort padding, moderating the firmness of the support foam below.

The support core of the Cotton Chic 8 is 7½" high. It is made of Ecogreen, a foam made by Magniflex from plant-derived essential oils. Water is used instead of chemical solvents in forming the foam.

The best foundations for the Toscana Cotton Chic 8 are platform beds or European wood slats. This mattress is also compatible with adjustable beds.

The Cotton Chic 8 carries the Magniflex 20-year manufacturers warranty. The first 10 year have non-prorated coverage, while coverage for the last 10 years is prorated.
