The first of the Ethos Collections listed on Diamond Mattress is the Organic Collection. It is hard to call this a collection, since no separate series or models are named on the DM site, but retailers do list Ethos Arrowhead models with at least two firmness levels, Firm and Medium.
The core of Ethos Organic mattresses is described as 100% Talalay latex. This means that both the support core and the comfort layers are latex, with the support core being very firm, and the comfort layers not as firm. Retailers list two comfort levels for Ethos Arrowhead models, Firm and Medium, so in the latter model at least one of the comfort layers must be plush or medium plush. The latex used is vertically ventilated for breathability and cooling.
Use of natural and organic materials continues on the ouside of the mattress. The cover of an Ethos Organic mattress is organic cotton, a material selected for user comfort. Just under this cover is certified organic wool. The wool acts to control temperature and moisture. Compressed wool is also used as a fire barrier, eliminating the need for chemicals to meet federal flammability standards for mattresses.
The default foundation for Ethos Organic mattresses is Diamond Mattress's hardwood base, which is upholstered to match the mattress. These models are also adjustable bed compatible. Diamond Mattress sells two, the Refuge Adjustable Lifestyle Base and the Active Adjustable Lifestyle Base, both made by Ergomotion.
Ethos Organic mattresses are warrantied by Diamond Mattress for 20 years.
