The top-of-the-line model of Octaspring mattresses by Dormeo is the 13" high Octaspring 9500. This foam spring mattress has three levels of Dormeo's MemoryCoils and EcoSprings, which are foam cylinders made of memory foam and polyurethane foam in a honeycomb pattern. The MemoryCoils come in Soft and Medium firmnesses. The EcoSprings, which are the support-core springs made of Eco-Cell, a support-level polyurethane, range in 5 firmness levels from soft to firm.
The top layer of 3" MemoryCoils is the comfort layer. It is topped with a layer of ventilated latex. The middle and bottom layers consist of 3" EcoSprings which are arranged for orthopedically zoned support. The firmer foam springs are in the bottom layer, while the middle layer is less firm. Between the MemoryCoil/EcoSpring layers and on the bottom are 1" layers of Eco-Cell material.
The cover of the Dormeo Octaspring 9500 has a "silky-soft" quilted top panel with a "360° wave air-mesh" on the sides. The top itself is breathable, but the sides actually enable airflow through the whole mattress. The honeycomb cylinder design of the Octasprings actually pumps air through whenever a sleeper moves, and the mesh sides let that air enter and exit the mattress. According to Dormeo, this cover resists bacteria and dust mites.
Dormeo offers bed divans and headboards to use with the Octaspring 9500. They also make and sell pillows, including the Evolution which itself has MemoryCoils inside.
The Octaspring 9500 is a one-sided mattress. It does not have to be flipped. It comes with Dormeo's 25-year limited warranty. It is available through several retailers in the United Kingdom, Canada and the United States. Among the retailers are Brookstone in the United States and Sleep Country in Canada.
