The
DuoGel XS is one of two models in the
Magnigel series by
Magniflex. It and
Duogel are the first
Magniflex mattresses featuring
Magnigel, a polyurethane foam infused with high-density gel. This is to add gel's cooling properties to the polyurethane by dissipating heat.
Magnigel is also configured to allow air to flow through it, providing both ventilation and cooling. The density of the
Magnigel is varied into seven zones to tailor the support to correspond to seven zones of the body's shape, providing more support where needed and relieving pressure at sensitive points.
The primary support for the
DuoGel XS matttress is the 6.8"
Eliosoft core.
Eliosoft is an expanded-cell high density polyurethane foam. This is to provide support with a soft feel.
A 1.2" layer of
Memoform Magnifoam padding is designed to provide cushioning, bringing the firmness level to medium-firm. This material is the
Magniflex version of memory foam, known for its cradling conformity.
The
Duogel material is just under the viscose fabric cover (viscose is more commonly called rayon). This cover is removable and can be dry cleaned.
The
DuoGel XS Mattress comes with the
Magniflex 20-year manufacturer's warranty.
