The Hotel E Collection, also called E Hotel and Englander Hotel, is the Englander Sleep Products line of hospitality mattresses and associated bedding. According to Englander, these "sleep systems are used in some of the world's finest hotels and resorts." Among these are Peninsula Hotels, Sheraton Hotels, Marriott, Hilton, Club Quarters, Nine Zero, Sofitel, Soho Grand. Hotel E mattreses are not only available commercially; they also appear in some retail showrooms.
There are two series within the Hotel E Collection, the Diamond Collection and the Executive Bed. These are two-sided innerspring mattresses, with the same comfort materials on both sides of the coil unit. This makes the mattresses more durable, especially if they are turned over regularly.
The coils and edge support differ between the two series. The Diamond Collection is available in three firmness levels–Firm, Plush and Pillowtop–while there is only one firmness level for the Executive Bed–Firm. Englander says that these support systems are "posturized" for proper spinal support.
Mattresses in both series have a multi-needle Damask cover top panel tack-and-jump quilted to a ¾" cotton batting fire retardant layer and 1¼" of super-firm HR polyfoam (it is not specified whether this foam is polyester or polyurethane).
The coils in the Englander Hotel Diamond Collection are 14-gauge pocket coils. The pockets are "welded" to each other and closed at the top. Pocket coils are used for their pressure-relieving conformity.
Perimeter foam encasement of the coil unit serves as edge support in Diamond Collection mattresses. A half-inch of polyfoam fills the comfort layers. In the Pillowtop model ¾" of polyfoam also fills the pillow top on each side.
The Firm and Plush Diamond Collection models are 12½" high, while 14½" is the height of the Pillowtop model.
The Executive Bed is the heavy-duty hotel mattress. The coils, which appear to be Bonnells (they may be offset coils), are 12½-gauge with a 6-gauge border wires for edge support.
The upholstery (comfort layers) in the Executive Bed are 1" each of super firm highly -resilient polyfoam and regular polyfoam.
The foundations for Hotel E mattresses are solid wood for long-lasting sure support.
The warranties on the Englander Hotel E mattresses are not specified online, but commercial and institutional mattresses are generally covered for only 5 years.
