G10 Essence
The
G10 Essence is the 10" entry level model of the
Genesis Series in the
2015 Comfortaire Collection of
airbeds. Key features of this new model are Individualized Sleep Experience, Interchangeable Components, Original Air Technology, and the Whisperflo™ 4200 Air Pump.
Basic to the
G10 Essence is the
Original Air Technology. Support for the mattress comes from 6" high 24-gauge
cotton-
latex air chambers. Inflation pressure for these air chambers is produced and controlled by the
WhisperFlo 4200 diaphragm air pump. Since this kind of pump is quiet, using it does not disturb a partner's sleep.
Surrounding the air chambers is 6" high
foam perimeter support. This 1.6-lb foam also supports the edge of the sleeping surface.
Atop the air chamber is a 2¼" comfort pad of convoluted foam. This pad is both breathable and conformable to keep the sleeper cool while relieving pressure and supporting the spine.
The
cover fabric of the
Comfortaire Genesis G10 Essence is a soft knit.
The
G10 Essence is equivalent, though an inch higher, to the 2013
Comfortaire model
oc400 in the
Original Comfort Series. It is compatible with full-support
foundations, such as
platform beds and
adjustable bases. It has a 25-year (2/25) limited warranty. The
G10 ought to be available through retailers by the end of 2014.
