G13 Horizons

G13 Horizons is the top model in the Comfortaire Genesis Series (or Collection, depending on the retailer). It is a 13" high euro-top adjustable air bed mattress with a bamboo fiber cover, memory foam comfort topper, and a base pad. It is an inch thicker than the 2013 Clear Comfort Series equivalent, the cc800. The cover of the G13 Horizons is made of knit bamboo rayon fabric. This allows air to flow through the fibers themselves, making the fabric breathable to keep it fresh, dry and cool. Bamboo is also resistant to allergens and microbes. The euro topper of the G13 Horizons has a 3¼" layer of Evellafoam™. This is a proprietary form of memory foam infused with synthetic latex. Evellafoam combines characteristics of latex and memory foam. It is durable, resilient, hypoallergenic, and conformable. It is scented with green tea extract for freshness and odor control. The users of the G13 Horizons are supported by Comfortaire's Original Air Technology™. Six-inch high air chambers are made of cotton-reinforced latex. They are inflated by Wf7 WhisperFlo™ 7200 air pumps. The Wf7 is a diaphragm pump, which operates quietly. This means that if one partner adjusts the air on one side of the bed, the other partner should not be awakened by the noise. It is capable of producing a firmness level 25% higher than the WhisperFlo 4200 used with the G10 Essence. The bottom of the air chamber core is protected by a 1" pad of base foam. The G13 Horizons, like all Comfortaire airbeds, is compatible with adjustable beds. It can also be used with other full-support foundations, such as platform beds. The G13 Horizons is covered by Comfortaire's 2/25 25-year limited warranty. It is already available through Mattress Depot, and will be available through many other retailers by the end of 2014.
