iComfort Prodigy EverFeel

Serta updated its
iComfort memory foam mattresses, unveiling the revised lineup in January 2014. Several
iComfort models were updated, becoming new models with
EverFeel added to their names. One of these updated
mattresses is the
iComfort Prodigy EverFeel.
The signature feature of these models is the
EverFeel Technology. According to
Serta, this new
foam has the conformity of
memory foam without needing temperature or the same time to adapt to the sleeper's body. The faster response allows
EverFeel to adjust as the sleeper changes position.
Another updated material in the new
iComfort mattresses is
Cool Action™
Dual Effects® gel memory foam, an upgrade from the
iComfort Cool Action™ gel memory foam. The
Dual Effects is infused with two kinds of
gel. Both foams have
Microsupport gel.
Microsupport is concentrated in areas of the foam under parts of the body needing additional support to maintain proper spinal posture. To this,
Dual Effects adds
MicroCool+, a gel containing
Phase Change Materials (
PCMs).
PCMs are temperature-regulating substances. When too warm, they absorb heat until liquified. When it is too cool they solidify, releasing heat.
iComfort Prodigy EverFeel has i layer each of
Cool Action™
Dual Effects® gel memory foam and
Cool Action™ gel memory foam.
The
cover of the
iComfort Prodigy EverFeel has
cotton-
polyester fabric quilted with
EverCool memory foam and
Serta PillowSoft foam.
Support for the
iComfort Prodigy EverFeel mattress is from the
Comfort Last® Foam Core with
Ultimate Edge® Support.
Comfort Last is high resiiency
polyurethane foam. It undergirds the comfort layers above, keeping them from bottoming out. Around this is a foam encasement, the
Ultimate Edge® Support. This provides edge support for the sleeping surface.
The
iComfort Prodigy EverFeel carries
Serta's 25-year limited warranty. It is available through many retailers, in stores and online.
