The Savant EverFeel Plush is in the middle of Serta's iComfort Collection of memory foam mattresses updated for 2014. It is called by some retailers the "most popular" of the models in this lineup, which features EverFeel™ Technology and Cool Action™ Dual Effects® Gel Memory Foam. The Savant EverFeel succeeds the iComfort Savant.
The other models in this revised collection are Avid EverFeel™, Vivacious EverFeel™, Renewal EverFeel™, Prodigy EverFeel™, Savant™ EverFeel™ Cushion Firm, Genius® EverFeel™, and Insight™ EverFeel™. There are two other iComfort collections: iComfort Directions and iComfort EFX.
The cotton-polyester fabric in the cover of the Savant EverFeel Plush is quilted with Serta's EverCool memory foam and PillowSoft foam. EverCool's open-cell structure is designed to counter heat retention while this memory foam conforms to body contours to relieve excess pressure. The PillowSoft adds extra softness.
The signature feature of this lineup is EverFeel Technology. Serta claims EverFeel cradles the body without requiring the temperature and time needed by memory foam to adapt to the sleeper's body and sleeping position. Since it responds quickly to the sleeper's change of position, it adjusts quickly, and the sleeper feels the conforming constantly, thus the name EverFeel.
Under the EverFeel is the Cool Action™ Dual Effects® Gel Memory Foam, the updated version of Serta iComfort's Cool Action™ Gel Memory Foam. Like the former, Dual Effects® is infused with MicroSupport™ gel. This gel is concentrated in areas of the foam under parts of the body which need additional support. Dual Effects® adds MicroCool+™ for temperature control. MicroCool+™ gel has Phase Change Materials (PCMs) which change their physical state when temperatures are outside the desired range. Too warm and they liquify by absorbing heat. Too cool and they solidify by releasing heat.
The support core of the iComfort Savant EverFeel Plush is the 6" high layer of Comfort Last® Foam. This polyurethane foam supports the comfort layers. Around this core is the Ultimate Edge® Support foam encasement which supports the edge of the sleeping surface.
The Serta iComfort Savant EverFeel Plush is available through many national, regional and local retailers, both online and in stores. The recommended foundations are the StabL Base Foundation, a platform, and the Serta Motion Customadjustable base. This model carries the Serta 25-year limited warranty.
