Diamond Mattress iDream Revive Series
The iDream is a gel memory foam collection under the Diamond Mattress brand. It currently has two models: Revive Luxe and Revive Supreme, The Luxe has a comfort level of Luxury Plush, and the Supreme is Medium Firm.

The iDream Revive models are tri-layered memory foam mattresses. The top (Comfort) layer is iDream gel-infused memory foam. According to Diamond Mattress, the formulation and configuration of the iDream foam makes it "12X more breathable than traditional memory foam." This is due to its open-cell structure and the way the gel beads are infused. The "traditional" role for gel beads in foam is cooling. Gel draws in body heat from the sleeping surface and carries it away to dissipate, not letting the memory foam accumulate heat the way "traditional" memory foam does. Additionally, DM claims that this memory foam controls moisture. The Diamond description indicates that the gel also contributes to the memory foam's support properties.


The primary role of memory foam in Diamond Mattress iDream Revive mattresses is releiving pressure points. It does this when it responds to a user's body heat and weight, conforming to the body's contours. This way, all parts of the body are evenly supported. Parts of the body which protrude, such as the shoulders and hips, do not carry a disproportionate share of weight.

Conformable memory foam by itself tends to sag unless supported from below. The top gel memory foam in the iDream Revive mattresses is undergirded by a support core. This core made of high density, highly resilient support foam. It is firmer than the top gel foam layer, but not too firm. This is to provide orthopedic support without compromising the memory foam's cushioning conformability.

Getting to the bottom of the iDream Revive Series by Diamond Mattress , we find the base layer. This is the firmest layer of these mattresses. This "High Density Orthopedic Base Foam" serves to undergird the whole mattress, protecting it from damage and sagging, thus prolonging the life of the mattress. This has a no-skid bottom surface so the mattress does not slip.

All of the foams used in an iDream mattress are called "high density Eco-Flex plant-based cushioning foam." It is certified by Certipur as not having any harmful chemicals. In actuality, the current standard for "plant-based" is 15-20% botanical oils used in the foam. As materials technology advances, this standard is expected to rise. A high proportion of fossil hydrocarbons (petroleum derivatives) is still required for durability.

The cover fabric of a Diamond Mattress iDream Revive mattress is a 4-way stretch knit, which lies directly on the iDream gel memory foam. This is what Diamond Mattress calls "Direct Contact." It is to ensure that the sleeper gets the full benefit of the gel-infused memory foam.

The "spring system" mentioned in the Diamond Mattress descriptions has to refer to a box spring, since the iDream models are foam mattresses. Diamond Mattress does sell a foundation with a hardwood framework which is covered to match the mattress. The iDream mattresses are also compatible with adjustable beds, and Diamond also sells Leggett & Platt adjustable bases.

Mattresses in the Diamond Mattress iDream Revive Series carry a 25-year limited warranty.
