InnoMax has a link on the side bar for Gel Beds. Gel Beds is not a collection or series in itself. It is another case of overlapping categories which does serve a useful purpose. The intent is not to confuse, but to aid those (both consumers and dealers) looking for certain features to find them. In this case, it is gel in InnoMax mattresses.
There are three groups of InnoMax mattresses featured under the label Gel Beds. They are Innopedic S.G.™ (Pressure Reducing, Self-Reinforcing Gel), Trinity™ Gel Infused Memory-Cell® Mattress, and Memory-Gel with Phase Change Thermal-Cell™. What these groups have in common is the use of gel. In one it is in the support material, and in the other two it is infused into the comfort foam.
InnoPedic is the InnoMax line of specialty sleep beds without metal coils, water or air in the support unit. It consists of three series. The comfort materials are Memory-Cell, latex, and gel. In the InnoPedic S.G. this is not solid gel, foamed gel, or a gel-infused foam. It is a 3-D grid of gel. How it holds its basic form is not disclosed. From the image, it appears to be a flexible plastic, but this could be a plastic shell filled with gel.
The purpose of this configuration is the fluid-like characteristic of the gel support coupled with breathability. By Self-Reinforcing, InnoMax means that it resumes its shape when the weight is removed.
The support core is InnoPedic's Energized Support Core, with support columns responding individually, the way pocket coils do, for conforming support along the entire length of the body.
The Trinity™ is one of two divisions of InnoMax Memory-Cell Mattresses. The other division is Prelude. Trinity mattresses feature InnoMax's Memory-Cell memory foam infused with gel. The gel makes the conforming support of the memory foam more fluidic while absorbing a certain amount of heat for initial cooling. The gel increases pressure relief, which is why it was first added to foam. The cooling was originally a side benefit.
The Memory-Gel - Phase Change Thermal-Cell mattresses are essentially like Trinity mattresses, but with the addition of phase change materials to the gel memory foam. This Thermal-Cell material does more than simply absorb some heat while conforming to the body for pressure relief and spinal support. It actually regulates the temperature to keep it within the designed range. When it gets too warm, absorption of heat accelerates. When it is too cool, heat is released.
InnoMax Gel Beds are available in six sizes: Western King, Eastern King, Queen, Full, Twin XL, and Twin. Warranties are for 20 years.
