iSeries Profiles Caliber Super Pillow Top
The
Caliber Super Pillow Top mattress is the only model in the
iSeries Profiles Collection which has the
EverCool® GfX memory foam. It also has the
Cool Action™
Dual Effects® Gel Memory Foam and
Duet® Coil Individually Wrapped Coil-in-Coil Support System with
BestEdge® Foam Encasement, two features
mattress manufacturer
Serta updated for 2014. Added to this are
Serta® Pillowsoft™ Foam and the
Profiles feature
EverFeel™ Technology.
The
polyester cover fabric of the
iSeries Profiles Caliber is quilted with
FireBlocker flame retardant and
Pillo-Fill quilting fiber. Just under this is the layer of
Serta® Pillowsoft™ Foam.
EverCool® GfX is memory foam infused with graphene, a form of graphite. This is strictly a heat conductor for cooling. It is similar to the "diamond dust" used by another mattress manufacturer. For now it is used in models at the top of their collections.
As in the
Prominence Firm, the
Caliber Super Pillow Top's two layers of
Cool Action™
Dual Effects® Gel Memory Foam are separated by the
EverFeel layer. This is
memory foam infused with both
MicroSupport® and
MicroCool+™
gels for both configured support and conductive cooling.
Serta developed
EverFeel™ Technology to get the conforming benefit of memory foam without needing time and temerature to adjust to the body and without heat buildup.
EverFeel is a feature of every
iSeries Profile model, includint the
Caliber.
The support in the
Caliber Super Pillow Top rests in the
Duet® Coil Individually Wrapped Coil-in-Coil Support System with
BestEdge® Foam Encasement. Each dual coil in the Coil-in-Coil Support System responds independently to conform to body contours for pressure relief and dampens motion transfer to reduce partner disturbance. A dual coil is two coils in one, Made from one wire, one coil is inside the other, The taller outer coil has fewer turns, so it is more cushioning. The shorter inner coil has more turns, providing deep suport. These
coils are suitable for a couple of greatly different body sizes.
Perimeter support for the
Duet® Coil innerspring and edge support for the sleeping surface are provided by the
BestEdge® Foam Encasement.
The recommended

iSeries Profiles Caliber Super Pillow Top are
Serta's
StabL-Base platform and
Serta Motion Perfect adjustable base.
