cotton-
polyester fabric quilted with
Pillo-Fill and
FireBlocker. The pillowtop is filled out with
PillowSoft. This, along with two
PillowSoft layers in the comfort section, makes this a plush mattress, 7 on a scale of 10.
The top and bottom layers of the comfort section of the
Honoree Super Pillow Top are
Serta PillowSoft foam. This is an extra soft
foam for contouring and extra cushioning.
EverFeel Technology, as explained in the
Profile Collection's review, is designed to provide the contouring, cradling conformity of
memory foam without its problems of activation & recovery time and heat build up.
Cool Action™
Dual Effects® gel memory foam is infused with two kinds of
gel.
Microsupport is added to the memory foam to enhance the support. It is strategically distributed for extra support under areas of the body that need it. In 2014,
Serta added
Microcool+ gel as a heat conductor to draw heat away from the surface for dissipation.
The innerspring of the Honoree Super Pillow Top hybrid mattress is the Duet® Coil Individually Wrapped Coil-in-Coil Support System. Each dual coil is two coils made from one wire. The outer and inner coil respond differently to provide both soft cushioning and deep support. And the pocket coil configuration makes this innerspring conforming, also dampening motion transfer.
BestEdge® foam encasement around the Duet Coil array provides perimeter support for the coils and edge support for the sleeping surface.
The two recommended foundations for the iSeries Profiles Honoree Super Pillow Top are Serta's StabL-Base platform foundation and the Motion Perfect adjustable base.
