The BodySystem mattress collection from Kingsdown is more of a pure designer mattress with a wide selection of construction options rather than a collection of individual mattresses. Yes, it can be said that the line has dozens of models, but in actuality it is one model. The Kingsdown BodySystem mattress is possibly one of the most technologically advanced sleep systems available now. Kingsdown uses a system called BodyEssentials to help interpret a few simple questions and a complex test of your body and how it reacts to different sleep surfaces.
At the heart of the test for the Kingsdown BodySystem mattress are three simple ideas, Cushion Cloud construction, Full Coil box springs, and Full Body Surround. These three features are used with the BodyEssentials test method to create a unique sleep system designed to provide the exact amount of resistance needed for your body and your preferred sleeping position. First comes the Cushion Cloud construction. This is simply a construction method used to reduce your body’s contact with the actual springs inside the mattress. Your mattress is tailored with the appropriate amounts of foam and batting to have your weight supported by the springs, but have each part of your body cradled in foam. Next is the Full Coil box springs. This is a simple step, but very important. Kingsdown uses a full box spring to help provide additional support for the heaviest areas of your body. Lastly, the Full Body Surround. This is simply a top, bottom, and side surround design tailored to your body once again for maximum comfort.
When you take the data from the BodyEssentials measurements, then use premium materials and construction, you will have a sleep system that is as unique as you are. This will generate a bed which should be to your liking, but also makes it very difficult to tell you what to expect when you lie down on the bed. The warranty is based on the needed materials for your bed; you should expect a typical 10-year-plus performance warranty with this sleep system. It is important to note that the Kingsdown sleep systems are not available in just any mattress store; only the highest quality bedding shops carry this ultra-premium line.
