At the 2015 Las Vegas World Market, Kingsdown unveiled its new Diamond Royale Collection. This is a line of extra-luxury mattresses to rival ES Kluft and Aireloom, designed at the request of Kingsdown's retailers. This collection also brings attention to Kingsdown as a producer of mattresses featuring organic materials. The company says, "Kingsdown Diamond Royale is a mattress steeped in purity, a mattress that delivers the ideal blend of support and pressure relief, of nature and nurture, of integrity and luxury." This line is called "Luxury uncompromised . . . Bringing nature home to you."
Kingsdown goes on to say, "At Kingsdown, we believe that luxury is in the details, in the intention and the truth that a product is built on." They cite the sourcing of the materials as being natural, ethical, and sustainable. The description of the Kingsdown Diamond Royale Collection notes that the American grown and raised cotton and wool are produced without pesticides and are handled in a way that preserves their purity.
The key features of Diamond Royale innerspring mattresses are described as Natural American Wool, Sun-kissed Cotton, and Muslin-wrapped Coils. The two-sided mattresses have two layers of pocket coils, at least three wool insulator pads, cotton and wool cushioning, and cotton fabric.
According to Kingsdown, the wool used in Diamond Royale mattresses is from family farms in North Carolina. No chemicals are used in raising the sheep or processing the wool, and the wool is unbleached and undyed.
The American-grown cotton used for mattresses in the Diamond Royale Collection is certified as organic: no chemicals, no bleach, no dyes. This cotton is used in the fiber padding, the cover fabric, and the muslin pockets for the coils.
At the heart of a Diamond Royale mattress are two layers of individually wrapped pocket coils separated by a natural wool insulator pad. These steel coils are sewn into pockets of organic cotton muslin. Pocket coils respond independently to conform to a sleeper's body for pressure relief and spinal support. They are more suitable for side sleepers than continuous coils or Bonnell coils. With a coil count of 2,640 in a Queen-sized mattress (1,320 per layer), the conformity is very fine. At the top and bottom of the double-layer innerspring are two more wool insulator pads.
The foundations for Diamond Royale Collection mattresses were not named, but wood foundations and Leggett & Platt Semi-Flex box springs have been listed by retailers for use with models in other Kingsdown collections. They are also compatible with platform beds and adjustable beds.
Mattresses in the Diamond Royale Collection have a 20-year manufacturers warranty from Kingsdown. This collection is carried by several retailers.

I had a kingsdown mattress when I lived in NY.. I miss it so much!!! It was the best mattress I have ever owned and slept on. Everyone that ever tried sleeping on it never wanted to get out of bed. I would let friends stay in my bed to experience it when they would come to visitm they all loved it!!!❤
