The Passions Collection of hybrid mattresses by Kingsdown has changed little since it was first covered on Beds.org in 2013. However there have been some changes worth taking note of.
The change most impacting the market for mattresses in the Passions Collection is the warranty. In 2013 Passions models were warrantied for 25 years. The current models are covered by a 10-year warranty, reflecting a trend in the mattress manufacturing industry for simpler and more realistic warranties, usually shorter but not prorated.
The models in the Kingsdown Passions Collection have been updated. The 2015 mattresses have both latex and gel-infused memory foam in the comfort layers, the cover fabric includes gel fibers, and a motion separation rail is added to the pocket coil innerspring. These are new models with new names. However, the names vary from one retailer or retail group to another, which is rather common among mattress companies.
Kingsdown has also revised the way its website presents and describes its mattresses. Like the other collections, the company shows a cutaway view of a Passions Collection mattress (in this case the Inspiration Pillowtop) with a legend (seen by hovering the pointer over points on the cutaway). Only a few key features are noted in the cutaway.

Kingsdown also displays a chart comparing its Passions Collection Inspiration to three competing models: Simmons® BeautyRest® Recharge® World-Class®, Sealy Posturepedic® Plus Series, and Serta® Perfect Sleeper® Reedsworth Super Pillow Top Elite.
The features highlighted in 2013 are still listed in the 2015 edition of the Passions Collection. The popularity of this collection, combining the benefits of innerspring mattresses with those of memory foam mattresses and latex mattresses, is shown by the number of retailers carrying this line.
Besides the default upholstered wood foundation provided for Passion Collection mattresses, these models are also compatible with platform beds, European wood slats (closely-spaced), adjustable beds and advanced design torsion-bar box springs (such as the Semi-Flex by Leggett & Platt). Old-style box springs are generally not recommended for pocket coil mattresses.
