Kluft Beyond Luxury
The mattresses in the Beyond Luxury collection by E.S. Kluft are genuine luxury products in the marketplace. They are sold by Bloomingdale's at $$$$$ prices and are found in luxury homes in upscale communities across the country. Bloomingdale's says, "The Kluft Beyond Luxury collection combines superb craftsmanship with the finest materials. Premium English springs encased in calico cotton provide extraordinary support while minimizing motion transfer. Abundant layers of cashmere, mohair, wool, cotton and Talalay latex nurture your body and eliminate pressure points, supporting and comforting your every curve. Hand tufted and hand side-stitched, each mattress is made to the exacting standards required by the 20-year warranty."

Beyond Luxury features the "Fill chamber design," which is the signature feature for all Kluft mattresses. Kluft describes the Fill Chamber as the "synchronization of sleeper, upholstery, and springs." What is the Fill Chamber Design? Where most other innerspring mattress have a void between the coils and the comfort layers, the Kluft mattresses, including Beyond Luxury, fill this space with upholstery fill fibers, eliminating the "drum effect." This is to make the mattress quieter, but more importantly it is there to permit better interaction among the sleeper, the comfort layers and the innerspring support core. Kluft also claims that it dissipates and minimizes transfer of motion between sleeping partners and optimizes pressure relief, while adapting to the user.

The innerspring support core of the Beyond Luxury mattresses consists of 1,681 individually-wrapped coils in the queen size. The shape of this unit is supported by strapping. These are set and sewn in place by hand in a unit enveloped in calico cotton.

The range of materials used in the comfort upholstery layers, depending on model, include natural and/or zoned Talalay latex, Joma wool, cashmere or mohair, quilting foams, luxury bio-foams, organic cotton and HD support base foam.

The Beyond Luxury mattresses use Reflex™ edge support encasement by premium bio-foam which is fully wrapped and hand-stitched in canvas. Fabrics used in the covers are either Oeko-Tex certified jacquard damask, forrestex, amd mecerized cotton. The upholstery is hand-stitched.

The preferred base for the Beyond Luxury collection is Kluft's divan foundation. This is like a box spring, with wrapped coils (hand-tied in some models). The frame is made forest lumber, which is a sustainable resource.

Mattresses in the Beyond Luxury collection come with a 20/10 year prorated warranty.
