Kluft Luxury Latex is one of two latex mattress series in the Kuft Mattesses brand by E.S. Kluft & Company. The other one is the Signature Series. Luxury Latex currently has two models, St. Claire and Raphael.
All models in the Kluft Luxury Latex share several common features. Among these are construction designed to relieve pressure, use of both natural and man-made materials, lumbar support, bio-foam perimeter encasement (called Reflex™), heavy-duty stretch knit fabrics, Oeko-Tex certified forrestex, biodegradable materials in the foundation, and Celsion Talalay latex.
Some of the features which may vary by model are the composition of the core, use of English tufting, a three-channel border, and the use of memory foam. Some models have a core made of both Dunlop and Talalay latex, while others have bio-based HD materials.
Both the St. Claire and the Raphael models of Kluft Luxury Latex are sold online by Bloomingdale's. Other retailers were not immediately found online. Both models are 13.5" high with Forrestex stretch knit covers which contain renewable fibers. They are sold with box springs and wooden foundations, for a 23" overall height. Both mattresses ar non-flippable. And they both carry a 20-year manufacturer's warranty.
Where the St. Claire and the Raphael differ are the compositon of the core, the height of the triple-zoned Celsion latex layer, and the box spring.
St. Claire's comfort level is medium firm. It has a 6" hybrid core with 3" each of Energia latex and "Reflex Green." The Celsion Latex comfort layer is only 1" thick, and the box spring has 8-way hand-tied springs.
Raphael is medium plush. Its 6" core is all latex, 3" each of Talalay and Dunlop. The Celsion latex layer is 2" high. Nothing was said about its box springs.
The regular prices for the Kluft Luxury Latex mattresses is in the $$$$$ range, but sales can bring the price down to the border of the next range.
I would rate this mattress a zero, except this site required a number for submittal.
