Kluft Royal Standard Collection
E.S. Kluft lists two Royal Standard collections on its website, Royal Standard-Original and Royal Standard-Lux Top. These collections are similar enough to be covered in the same review, especially since retailers treat them as one collection. Kluft Royal Standard is described as "European style with superior comfort."

There are many features shared by the Royal Standard-Original and Royal Standard-Lux Top. These include (from the Kluft site): body pressure-relieving construction, patented "fill box" design (filling the space above the coil unit with upholstery fiber), natural and finest quality man-made components, patented 3-channel border (some models), English outer tufting design, and fully upholstered bottom.

The commonality includes the innersprings support core, which consists of individually wrapped coils, honeycomb nested and arranged in zones to provide lumbar support.

The edge support for the Kluft Royal Standard mattresses is Kluft's "Reflex™ premium bio-foam perimeter encasement." This serves to keep the array of individual coils in place. It also provides full support to the sleeping surface (as edge support does in all mattresses which employ it) so the entire surface is usable, including sitting on the edge.

The comfort and upholstery layers in the mattresses of the Kluft Royal Standard Collections may contain any of the following materials (depending on the models): natural Talalay latex, certified organic cotton layer, Reflex™ luxury bio-foams, pin convoluted foams, plush convoluted quilting foam, high density support base foam. In all the models, these are hand tufted to stabilize the layers and also to reduce or minimize impressions.

The Kluft Royal Standard Collections mattress sets include foundations made of forest timber, a sustainable resource. However, legs may be obtained and used to raise the bed above the floor.

Three of the Kluft Royal Standard Collections models listed online by one retailer (available only in the stores) are the Kluft Enchantment, Kluft Brilliana and Kluft Savoir. In their description of these models, they said that the Kluft Royal Standard collection is found only in select retailers. Distinguishing features of these three models are as follows (other models may differ with these):

Enchantment - The Enchntment features the Kluft 8-way hand-tied boxspring. The innerspring unit has 900+ coils in the queen size. It has a removable and reversible plush comfort top, with "super stretch" fabric on one side and Belgian damask on the other. One side has a comfort level of ultra plush, the other medium plush. This comfort top is filled with Joma wool.

Brilliana - The Brilliana has a coil count of 800+ in queen size. The comfort layer combines Joma wool, Talaly latex and visco memory foam. Not only the mattress, but also the box spring has individually wrapped coils which are foam encased and it is hand-tufted.

Savoir - Like the Brilliana, the Savoir has a coil count over 800. The Savoir also shares the same boxspring as the Brilliana. However, the comfort top combines several layers of Talalay latex and Joma wool with "aireGEL" to add cooling and the unique kind of support gel yields.

All Kluft Royal Standard mattresses carry a 20/10-year prorated warranty.
