The lowest model of Latexpedic latex mattresses is the 7" Latex Mattress. It also has the simplest construction, a 6" thick core of Talalay latex.
The Latexpedic 7" Latex Mattress is available in any of four firmness levels: Soft, Regular Firm, Extra Firm, and Ultra Firm. This is determined by the firmness of the latex core, with an ILD of 28 (soft), 32, 36, or 44.
The customer can also choose the composition of the latex. The choices are Classic Latex (blended natural and synthetic), Natural Latex (made from 100% rubber tree sap), and Organic Latex (natural latex meeting certain qualifications).
The 6" latex core of the 7" Latex Mattress is wrapped in a quilted cover of bamboo* fabric. The quilting material in this model is not named, but in another model it is compressed wool, which serves as a natural fire retardant. The quilted cover accounts for the other inch of this mattress's height.
The quilting is the same on both the top and bottom of the 7" Latex Mattress, making this a two-sided mattress which can be flipped over. Handles are sewn onto the sides for ease in handling.
The ILD of the core of each 7" Latex Mattress is tested before assembling the mattress. This is done for every Latexpedic model.
The Latexpedic 7" Latex Mattress is covered by a 20-year warranty. It is available through several Electropedic retailers as well as in the company's showrooms.
*The description from Latexpedic did not specify rayon (or viscose) made from bamboo, so we will assume that, following FTC regulations, this is made of natural bamboo fibers.
