Lucid 14-Inch Triple-Layer Memory Foam Mattress
The Lucid 14-Inch Triple-Layer Memory Foam Mattress is one of two 14" memory foam models sold by LinenSpa. The other one is the LUCID 14" Plush Four-Layer Memory Foam Mattress. The Triple-Layer Memory Foam Mattress has a medium comfort level, described by LinenSpa as "a medium-plush feel."

The top layer of this 3-layer model is 2" of soft ventilated memory foam (5.3-lb). This is designed for soft, cushioning, conforming support. It is ventilated for cooling airflow. The principal advantage of the memory foam is pressure relief.

The second layer is 3" of firmer, supportive memory foam (3-lb). This layer is to support the top layer, keeping the sleeper from "bottoming out." According to descriptions, this memory foam has an open-cell structure. Being open-cell is to make it more supportive while allowing air circulation through the layer.



Primary support for the Lucid 14-Inch Triple-Layer Memory Foam Mattress is from the 9" support layer of high density foam. The type of foam is not specified, but in most mattresses of this kind the support foam is polyurethane. In this model, as in most memory foam mattresses, the support layer also provides edge support.

The cover fabric of the Lucid 14-Inch Triple-Layer Memory Foam Mattress includes cashmere, known for softness and temperature control.

All LinenSpa models, including the Lucid 14-Inch Triple-Layer Memory Foam Mattress, are low-priced, though the listed MSRP is significantly higher. This is because although the mattresses are designed in the USA, the components are made in other countries, such as China. Even if they are cut and assembled in this country, this drastically lowers the price. LinenSpa claims that their products are "Safe for You and the Environment," citing the materials used and the certifications. However, quality control in China has been questionable at best.

LinenSpa has a 25-year warranty on the Lucid 14-Inch Triple-Layer Memory Foam Mattress. The mattress is packaged and shipped so that it can be taken into any house and room. When removed from the box and the protective cover, it will expand. This mattress can be purchased online through LinenSpa and through Amazon.
