Luxury Collection

The Luxury Collection is a subset of the SleepMaker Collection by the Marshall Mattress Company, a Canadian manufacturer of innerspring mattresses. This four-model series, featuring an innerspring of 1002 cotton-wrapped pocket coils in Queen-size, are called hybrid mattresses. Three of the models (Luxe i, Luxe ii, and Luxe iii) are flippable. The fourth, Absolute, is a no-flip mattress.

The coils in the Luxury Collection innerspring are wrapped in cotton pockets which are sewn together. The pockets keep the coils in place, free to respond independently to the weight and shape of the sleepers' bodies. This conforming supports the entire body evenly. This means that no one part of the body bears most of the weight, thus relieving pressure on these points. This is also intended to maintain proper spinal posture.

Edge support is provided by precision hand-tufting of the mattress after assembly. Therefore, foam encasement is not used.

The comfort layers of the hybrid mattresses in the Marshall Mattress Luxury Collection consist of New Zealand wool, soy foam, white polyester fibers, compressed cotton felt, and cotton fibre. To these Absolute adds natural latex. Luxe ii and Luxe iii have three soy layers, each a different firmness.

The hand-tailored cover of each Luxury Collection model is a Belgian damask fabric of blended rayon (viscose) and cotton. The borders are the same material, but in a contrasting color.

Each Luxury Collection mattress is matched to a fully upholstered wood-framed foundation. This 8½" high platform is modular: it comes in easy-to-ship sections which can be put together as the foundation when setting up the bed.

Mattresses in the Sleepmaster Luxury Collection are available at several retailers across Canada, as well as a few in the United States. They carry a 10-year warranty from the Marshall Mattress Company.
