Luxury Latex
Luxury Latex is a specialty sleep (non-innerspring) collection of Stearns & Foster which features latex for both support and comfort. These mattresses also bear deep, soft quilted covers.

Comfort in Stearns & Foster Luxury Latex models begins at the top with the luxury quilted cover. The cover fabric is a blend with cashmere fibers. This fabric is then quilted with 2¹/₂" of HD hypersoft and Convoluted Hypersoft foams. The cover also includes Fire Blocker flame resistant fibers to meet federal flammability standards for bedding.

The comfort of the Luxury Latex collection continues with combinations of Stearns & Foster Intuisoft™ Smart Latex® foam and HD SuperSoft Foam. These are components of Smart Latex® Progessive Recovery Technology. The number, order and thicknesses of these layers depends on the model and the comfort level. Stearns & Foster lists four comfort levels: Firm, Cushion Firm, Plush, and Ultra Plush. Some retailers also list intermediate levels on some models, though this may be advertising descriptions.

Solid support in Stearns & Foster Luxury Latex mattresses is provided by the Continuous Smart Latex® support core. This core varies in height according to model from 6 to 8³/₄ inches. Some models have an Interlock Support System™. Stearns & Foster recommends their Limited Deflection™ box spring as the foundation for a Luxury Latex mattress. This is available in two heights: 9" standard or 5" low profile. All but Ultra Firm models are designed to work with adjustable bases. By using an adjustable bed, the user can customize comfort and support.

Like all Stearns & Foster mattresses, those in the Luxury Latex collection carry a 25-year warranty. Two conditions of the warranty are (1) having a suitable foundation, and (2) keeping the mattress clean. The first one is to ensure that the Luxury Latex mattress has sufficient support. The second is important, since substances soaking into the mattress can degrade the components and shorten the mattress's life.
