Magni 9

Magni 9 is the entry level model in Magniflex's Classico Collection of memory foam mattresses. The other two models are Magni 10 and Magni 12. This 9" mattress is also the simplest model, a quilted cover on a support core. It is the firmest, with a comfort level of Firm.


A - ½" Viscose Cover, with the top panel quilted to:

The fabric of the quilted cover is viscose. Also called rayon, viscose is made of cellulose extracted from wood. The cellulose is dissolved and purified. Then it is extruded into fibers and spun into thread or yarn. On the Magni 9, the fabric is a soft stretch knit so it can conform to the sleepers along with the underlying memory foam.

The memory foam in the quilted cover is Magniflex's own version, Memoform. Its open-cell structure makes it more supportive and breathable than the older closed-cell foam.

The cover fabric is also quilted to Super-Soft fiber padding. More breathable than any foam, the fiber padding is also a transition layer between the memory foam and the support core.

The support core of the Classico Magni 9 consists of Elioform, the firmer version of Magnifoam, the Magniflex variety of support foam. Magniform has a micro-cellular open-cell configuration. This makes it more elastic. The softer version is Eliosoft.

Like all foam mattresses, the Magni 9 needs a foundation with solid support, such as a platform, or European wood slats, or an adjustable bed. A traditional box spring does not provide adequate support. However, many retailers call platform foundations "box springs," so if in doubt, look for a detailed description or ask.

The Magniflex manufacturers warranty on the Magni 9 is for 20 years (10+10), non-prorated for the first ten years, prorated for the rest of the term.

The Classico Collection Magni 9 by Magniflex is available in North America through several retailers in the United States and in Canada.
