Magniflex Vita
The Vita 9" ElioSoft by Magniflex is a dual comfort memory foam mattress, meaning one side is soft and the other firm. Users can choose which firmness suits them better. If the soft side is too soft and the firm side too firm, a mattress pad on the firm side can achieve a middle level.

The Vita mattress is in the Magniflex Memoform Magnifoam Collection. It has Memoform Magnifoam padding quilted into the cover on the firm side. Memoform Magnifoam is Magniflex's proprietary version of visco-elastic memory foam. Acording to Magniflex, it "follows perfectly the body outline, offering excellent support to the whole body and especially to the back." The property of "anatomical support" is due to the cellular structure of the foam. Like all memory foams, it rebounds to its original configuration when the weight of the user is removed. Magniflex refers to Memoform Magnifoam as "the softest material." But the other side of the Vita is even softer.

The soft side of the Vita mattress has Eliosoft padding quilted into the cover. Eliosoft is a polyurethane foam featuring high density combined with softness. Micro-cells are expanded then linked to each other at "capillary" style boundaries. Magniflex claims that Eliosoft is softer than other forms of polyurethane.

The core of the Vita 9" Eliosoft mattress is about 7 to 7½ inches of Elioform. This material combines two kinds of polyester to provide both the strength and the firmness needed for spinal orthopedic support. According to Magniflex, it is "extremely hygienic and breathable."

The cover of the Magniflex Memoform Magnifoam Vita mattress is made of viscose fabric. Viscose is known for absorbancy and softness. One special feature of the cover is the edge band, which has elasticity and is breathable. This is to allow edge ventilation to keep the mattress both cool and fresh. The cover on the Vita is not removable, therefore not launderable.

The Magniflex Vita is made in Italy, and is vacuum packed and shipped to the consumer. Mattress dealers and service companies here are contracted to deliver and install Magniflex mattresses. The Vita has a 20-year manufacturers warranty.
