Magnigel Dual 10
At 10" high,
Magnigel Dual 10 is the middle model in the
Magnigel Series by
Magniflex, the Italian manufacturer of
memory foam mattresses. It was introduced in the 2014 revision of
Magniflex's product line.
"Dual" in the name of this model refers to the
dual comfort feature. The multi-layered support/comfort core can be flipped to change the comfort level at the sleeping surface, a choice between
Medium Plush and
Medium Firm. "Dual" also refers to separate choices for right and left sides of the mattress in the larger (two-sleeper) sizes.

The
cover fabric of the
Magnigel Dual 10 is
viscose (also known as rayon), extracted and extruded wood cellulose. It is a durable material with a
silky texture and is hypoallergenic. Underneath it are
Memoform (
Magniflex's open-celled
memory foam) and super soft fiber filling.
Below the fiber filling in the
Magniflex Magnigel Dual 10 is the multi-layer support core. The three layers are
Magnigel,
Memoform and
Eliosoft.
Magnigel is a
foam made of
gel. Being foam, it is breathable. It is also flexible. Gel is a heat conductor which cools the mattresss. It is also "crush proof" while still soft.
Magniflex claims that it keeps the mattress dry.
Eliosoft is the softer version of
Magnifoam,
Magniflex's own high-density support foam (the firmer version is called
Elioform). The density of its microcellular structure is intended to convey elasticity and breathability.
The border of the
Magnigel Dual 10 memory foam mattress is 3-D fabric. It is more breathable than flat material, and is expected to relieve humidity.
Foundations Magnigel Dual 10 is compatible with are
platforms,
European-style wood slatted bases and
adjustable beds. It carries a 20-year warranty from
Magniflex. The
Magnigel Dual 10 is carried by several retailers in North America.
