The Miralux Luxuriant ultra plush mattress may be a diamond in the rough. The thick euro-top layer serves as a source of very high initial comfort, and directly below that pillowtop layer is a material usually reserved for the most expensive innerspring mattresses – latex foam. The latex foam layer works to completely remove pressure points and help you get a better nights sleep. This is done by providing a uniformly resistive surface that responds to the weight directly applied to a given area, not by simply giving the same resistance throughout the sleep surface. What this translates into is when more weight is applied, the same resistance is felt as where less weight is applied. When you place this latex foam layer above the 5-zone individually pocketed coil springs, you have what is sure to be a winning design.
The durability and longevity of a bed set like the Miralux Luxuriant ultra plush mattress is also conveyed by the other materials used in the mattress. Microfiber covers, high-gauge spring steel, and a perimeter foam encasement system all are features usually reserved for mattresses which start at $1500 for a queen set and go up. Although we were not able to obtain a large selection of prices online for this mattress, we believe that $1200 for a queen set would be an average starting price. Of course, your local prices may vary some.
The Luxuriant ultra plush mattress by Miralux is certainly a design which should not be overlooked. The fact that you may find this bed for several hundred dollars less does not mean that you should consider it inferior to other manufacturers. Quite simply put, a premium mattress should be evaluated just like any other high-end purchase you would ever make. The formula is simple: Quality + Performance + Cost + Functionality + Comfort = Purchase. With the 15 year warranty, advanced design, and premium materials, this bed set may be a winner even if it were much more expensive.
