Nature’s Rest Nature Zone Plush
Very similar to the Nature Zone firm mattress, Nature’s Rest constructs the Nature Zone Plush out of natural materials, with some man-made materials as needed. The two main parts of the mattress – the comfort layer and the core – are made from organic-based foams and are unique to the Nature’s Rest brand. The primary difference in the comfort layers of the mattress is the patented interlocking, zoned construction. Nature’s Rest calls this technology the Body Curve topper, and this topper design is incorporated into the Nature Zone mattresses. By staggering the thickness of each type of foam in the topper, the manufacturer claims to have achieved a zoned support system available only on Nature’s Rest mattresses.
The support layer, or core, of the Nature Zone plush mattress is the organic based foam which we understand is a soy derivative. This environmentally friendly foam is a responsible way to achieve the goal of being “Green”. The cover is designed to be as comfortable as the rest of the bed, and features silk, wool, and cashmere. There are also antimicrobial fibers involved as well as a layer of foam quilted directly into the cover.
One of the concerns with any “Green” product is that they normally cost a little more to produce than their man-made counterparts. A plush queen set in the Nature Zone line from Nature’s Rest will typically go at about $1700, and may be more expensive with other features like a pillowtop or euro-top layer. This price does include the matching foundation, which is designed to better support the Nature Zone mattress according to the manufacturer.
