New Four Seasons Collection
In January, SpringAir re-introduced its Four Seasons Collection. Ranging from 13" to 18" in height, this line of hybrid mattresses has been re-designed. The signature feature of the new design is temperature control.

The new Four Seasons series still relies on the Back Supporter innerspring unit for support. The models in this collection are paired according to the type of coils. The Firm models have offset or Bonnell coils. The Plush have pocket coils. Whichever type of coils a model has, they are arranged into five zones, corresponding to five areas of the body, to provide more support where needed, such as shoulders and hips.

What is in the comfort layers and toppers of the new SpringAir Four Seasons mattresses depends on the model:
- Aer Foam is Four Seasons's gel memory foam. Gel-infused memory foam used by most manufacturers to provide conforming comfort without the excess heat of the original memory foam.
- Eco Latex is gel-infused latex foam. Latex is used in mattresses for its resiliency and gel is added for cooling.
- Cool Gel Latex is SpringAir's latex with maximum gel infusion.
- Micro-Encased Coils is a foam-encased layer of microcoils with a 1000 coil count. Found in the toppers model, the intent of microcoils is to provide comformity without the heat build-up of memory foam.
- Joma Wool Quilting and Silk & Fiber Quilting are used in the quilting of Four Seasons mattresses as part of user-choice temperature regulation. The quilted cover is reversible. The Joma Wool side is for keeping warm, while the Silk & Fiber side is for cooling.

SpringAir says that there are four content options for their luxury toppers: (1) Micro-Encased Coils and Cool Gel Latex, (2) Aer Foam, (3) Eco Latex, and (4) high density Poly-Ultimate Foam.

If you are shopping for SpringAir Four Seasons mattresses online, it may be confusing trying to compare models offered by one retailer with those offered by another. Some have different names for some of the SpringAir materials. This may be due in part to SpringAir mattresses being made by licensees. And some retailers insist on their own model and component designations.

Four Seasons had been a successful collection for SpringAir, and the company hopes that bringing it back updated will improve their share of the market. These hopes are pinned on the range of comfort choices (such as individual comfort for each side of the bed), temperature control, and flexibity in model options. The comfort topper is 4" high and flippable, offering a choice to meet seasonal or other changes.

Mattresses in the SpringAir Four Seasons collection carry a 10-year warranty.
