Oceaine Dreams Series

Innerspring mattresses in the Oceaine Dreams Series by Spring Time Bedding are similar to those of the Sarah Collection and the White Diamond Series. Unlike the other two groups, Oceaine models have a cover with a "cashmere feel." Like the Sarah models, these have three layers of quilting foam. In contrast with White Diamond models, polyester fill fibers are added to the quilting instead of memory foam. Oceaine models are an inch higher (13"-14"-15") with one more comfort layer than those in the other two series. This series shares the same innerspring support unit and edge support with the other two.

STB Oceaine Models

The cover of the Oceaine Dreams mattresses is a stretch knit fabric with a cashmere-like feel. The top panel is quilted to three layers of HD Firm quilting foam and a layer of polyester fill fibers. This makes the cover itself part of the system of support and cushioning. This cover also meets federal fire safety standards.

Oceaine Dreams mattresses have six foam comfort layers. The top three layers are of "sustainable foam," probably containing natural plant-based oils. The next three layers are convoluted high-density foam. The upper two are Medium Soft, and the lower one is Firm. Convoluted foam has a somewhat conforming effect. It also fosters airflow for cooling. The type of foam in these layers is not identified, but it is very likely polyurethane, since that is the default foam for most manufacturers.

An insulator pad with two layers transitions support to the foam layers from the innerspring support unit. This is to protect the foam from the coils and to keep the foam from interfering with the action of the coils.

The support unit of the Oceaine Dreams Series mattresses is a 460-count innerspring of 7-turn heavy-duty coils. Around this innerspring is foam encasement to serve as edge support. This is to make the sleeping surface completely usable out to the edges with no sag to cause rolling off the mattress. It is also to make it easier to get into and out of bed.

The recommended foundation for Oceaine Dreams models are wood-framed platforms. The ones Spring Time Bedding provides are designed especially for the mattresses they are paired with, and have matching upholstery. These foundations come in two heights: 9" Standard and 5" Low Profile.

Mattresses in the Oceaine Dreams Series have a 15-year limited waranty from Spring Time Bedding. The first 5 years are not prorated, but the remaining 10 are covered on a pro-rata basis, with a charge of 1/25 the current price of the mattress for each year after the end of the the fifth year.
