OrganicPedic Duo and Bella Duo
The OrganicPedic Duo and OrganicPedic Bella Duo by Organic Mattresses, Inc. (OMI) are latex mattresses made with 100% natural latex/rubber (made from rubber tree sap).

These are customizeable mattresses. The latex support layers can be selected to tailor the overall firmness. Except for twin size mattresses, these layers are divided between the right and left sides of the bed. This means that the sides can be individually customized for separate sleepers.

The two models, the Duo and the Bella Duo, differ in the number of customizeable layers. The Duo has three, and the Bella Duo has two (judging by an exploded view of the Duo, the top choice layer is not divided). These layers are wrapped in organic cotton sleeves marked with their firmness levels. Each layer is one of three firmness levels: Firm, Medium, or Soft. The comfort level is fine-tuned by the combination of these.

The three levels of the Duo are Top, Middle and Base. The Bella Duo just has Top and Base. Charts online explain how to achieve comfort levels with these layers. For example, if you want a medium mattress in the Duo, choose a soft top layer, medium middle layer, and firm base layer.

Note - The 20-year limited warranty only extends to Duo 3-Layer or Bella Duo mattress with a base layer of medium or firm.

These mattresses still have the five zones from head to foot corresponding the major sections of the body. These zones are to shape the support to reduce or eliminate pressure points, such as at the shoulders and hips, while fostering proper spinal alignment.

Like several other OMI mattresses, the OrganicPedic Duo and OrganicPedic Bella Duo have a sculpted surface (fashioned by the process of quilting) which promotes more air flow than is the case with flat sleeping surfaces. The cover is organic cotton quilted with EcoWool, which is flame resistant, insulating, moisture wicking, and breathable. It is also removeable and can be dry cleaned.

Like all OMI mattrresses, these two models are hand-made in a certified 100% organic factory using entirely organic materials.
