OrganicPedic Flora by
Organic Mattresses, Inc. (OMI) is an 8" latex mattress with two flat sleeping surfaces. The 3" support core of firm latex is sandwiched between two 2" layers of softer latex, designed to yield a comfort level of Medium-Firm.
The latex is all-natural (rubber) Talalay latex. Latex's resilience dampens motion transfer, which minimizes sleep disturbance when a partner moves. It is also mold, midew and dust mite resistant.
The quilted cover of the
OrganicPedic Flora is OMI's "signature OrganicPedic® knit quilting." The cover fabric is organic cotton, and the quilting fill is Eco-Wool™, which not only moderates temperature, but also is flame resistant. This makes chemical fire retardants unnecessary.
The base for the
OrganicPedic Flora mattress is a European-style wood-slat foundation. It also carries a 20-year limited warranty.
