OrganicPedic Fusion
The OrganicPedic Fusion is an innerspring mattress with latex made by Organic Mattresses, Inc. (OMI). A two-sided model, the Fusion could be called a "sandwich mattress." The innerspring core is padded the same way both above and below, mirror image.

The core of the OMI OrganicPedic Fusion is an innerspring unit of 660 Bonnell coils (in the queen size). Both sides of this innerspring core are covered with organic cotton canvas (which is also used between the other layers).

On either side of this covered innerspring core is hand-layered, pre-compressed organic cotton padding. This cotton padding and the canvas are hand-tufted to hold the padding in place. The cotton is grown in the USA with no pesticides to leave toxic residues.

Next out from the center of the OrganicPedic Fusion mattress by OMI are 2" layers of pure natural Talalay latex. This latex is made from the sap of rubber trees, a sustainable, renewable resource. Latex is known for its resiliency, and also for being resistant to dust mites, bacteria, mold and mildew. Latex foam is also breathable.

Finally, the crest of the OrganicPedic Fusion is OMI's quilted cover. Organic cotton is quilted with Eco-Wool for a cushiony, non-allergenic finishing touch. The Eco-Wool is from sheep who have not been dipped in chemicals. Since the wool is not in contact with the user's skin, sensitivity to wool should not be a concern. Eco-Wool also serves as a fire retardant, negating the need for chenicals to meet federal flammability standards.

Like all Organic Mattresses, Inc. products, the OrganicPedic Fusion is hand-made in the only US mattress factory which is certified as 100% organic.

The Fusion comes with a 20-Year Limited Warranty.
