Organic Mattresses, Inc. (OMI) describes their OrganicPedic Tahoe like this: "Made with 100%-pure natural latex and our exclusive patent-pending REST™ (Rubber Enhanced Spring Technology) design, the Tahoe is one of a kind. It's the newest addition to our line of organic mattresses, delivering an extremely comfortable sleeping environment at an introductory price."

The 8"-10" OrganicPedic Tahoe is a hybrid mattress, with an innerspring support core and a latex-cotton comfort core. (The height variation is due to custom ordering by retailers.) The Innerspring support core is a Bonnell coil unit with 100% natural rubber, a design labelled by OMI as REST (Rubber Enhanced Spring Technology).

The comfort core of the OrganicPedic Tahoe is a layer of latex with organic cotton padding. This, combined with the rubber-enhanced innerspring core, is engineered to provide a comfort level of Medium-Firm. Among the benefits of the latex are resiliency and resistance to mildew, mold and dust mites. The advantages of the cotton padding are temperature control, cushioning, and flame resistance. Use of wool negates the need for chemical fire retardants.

The quilted sleeping surface features organic cotton fabric and Eco-Wool quilting fill. The base is a wooden slat foundation. The OrganicPedic Tahoe comes with a 20-year limited warranty.
