The OrganicPedic Youth Bed by Organic Mattresses, Inc. (OMI) is a 4" high, 100% latex mattress available in Twin and Twin XL sizes. It is designed for children from primary age to pre-teen or early teens. Two-inch toppers are available to make this mattress more suitable for larger children.

The entire mattress is a single core made of either organic natural rubber latex sap (USDA certified) or 100% natural rubber latex molded and cured by the Dunlop process. The firmness of the OMI Youth Bed is medium-firm. Among the benefits of natural latex is resistance to microbes, mildew, dust mites and mold.

The motion absorbing design of the OrganicPedic Youth Bed conforms to the contour of the spine to give very good support to the back while not too firm. Here this mattress has the advantage of latex resiliency.

The OrganicPedic Youth Bed cover is organic cotton fabric quilted with Eco-Wool fill. The organic cotton is grown without herbicides and pesticides. And the wool is a natural flame resistant, negating the need for synthetic fire barriers and chemical fire retardants. It is also breathable and moisture-wicking.
