The Comfort Classic Luxury is the smaller sibling of the Comfort Classic Pillow Top innerspring mattress. This model from Paramount Mattress is a two-sided mattress with the same surface on both sides. It can be flipped over for a fresh feeling. This, along with rotating, prolongs the usable lifetime of the mattress.
This model being a "Classic" suggests the type of coils used as being Bonnell coils, continuous coils or offset coils. This is more likely since the type of edge support described indicates perimeter rods around the top and bottom of the innerspring unit. This innerspring should be about 8" to 9" tall, since it is described as "high profile."
The Comfort Classic Luxury mattress is a tight-top model, meaning it has minimal padding between the sleeping surface and the coils. This would make its profile an inch or two shorter than the Pillow Top model.
The padding on either side of the innerspring in the Comfort Classic Luxury mattress is firm foam. Whereas the other Comfort Classic model has enough for a pillow-top layer on each side, this padding is thinner. Together with the quilting, this adds about ˝"–maybe less–to each side of the mattress.
The "soft stretch knit fabric" in the cover is quilted, tack-&-jump style, with extra soft foam. The border on the foundation matches the border of the mattress.
Available for purchase with the Comfort Classic Luxury mattress is the Semi-Flex Box Spring by Leggett & Platt. This is a limited deflection all-steel advanced-design box spring, not with coils as in the traditional types.
