The Posture Supreme is a two-sided firm tight-top innerspring mattress produced and sold by Paramount Mattress. The company says that this model is "Great for hotels and dorm rooms." Being two-sided increases the lifespan of this mattress. It features heavy-gauge coils and a gold-colored Damask cover. Designed for orthopedic support, this mattress can be upgraded to "heavy duty."
The heart of the Posture Supreme is the 13-gauge Bonnell coil innerspring. These coils are framed by top and bottom perimeter rods, which also serve as edge support for the sleeping surfaces.
In the cover, gold-colored Damask fabric is quilted by a muti-needle process to high-density foam to cushion sleepers against the coils. The same fabric is used on the sides of the mattress as well as on the foundation.
Paramount Mattress supplies a wood foundation to complete the set. This is a wood box with a flat surface, like a platform, to support the mattress. It is upholstered to match the mattress. This foundation is available in standard height or low profile.
The Semi-Flex foundation, an advanced design steel box spring with low deflection is also available through Paramount Mattress from Leggett & Platt. This design provides more consistent support than the traditional box springs with coils.
Posture Supreme carries the Paramount Mattress 10-year manufacturer's warranty against defects in materials or manufacturing.
