iGravity Collection

iGravity

The the effect of the iGravity Collection is described by by Paramount Sleep (PS) as the "iGravity Weightless Sleep Sensation." Paramount Sleep's tagline is "Drift Through Gravity-Defying Sleep Every Night." This is credited to combining the comfort section of "exotic foams" and the spring section of the mattress, called "the iGravity Coil Chamber."

I know the above makes this seem like an innerspring mattress, but it is more like a hybrid. The PS list of features bears this out:

iGravity Weightless Coil
Exotic Foams
High Density Foam Core
Air Core Topper
Special Appointments

Paramount Sleep iGravity Details

iGravity Weightless Coil – These are mini-coils (smaller-sized microcoils) with a coil count of 1,000. Microcoils and mini-coils are very short pocket coils, making a layer very flexible and very conforming, providing pressure relief. Among other benefits of mini-coils are resistance to body impressions, motion isolation, and cooling.

Exotic Foams – Two kinds of high density foams add to the support in iGravity models. Gel-infused memory foam is used to continue the conformity and cooling of the minicoils. Talalay latex is naturally highly resilient. One retailer also lists memory foam infused with graphite.

High Density Foam Core – This high-density soy-based polyurethane support foam is the primary support of iGravity mattresses. The soy content of this foam supports a claim of being environmentally friendly. This foam is there for durable support.

Air Core TopperParamount Sleep and retailers do not specify the construction of the Air Core Topper. This is described as providing "extra support across the sleeping surface while allowing a more breathable night’s sleep." This seems to rule out air bladders while suggesting material constructd to maximize airflow.

Special Appointments – This includes the cover of a Paramount Sleep iGravity Collection mattress. The fabric is a super-stretch knit in a waterfall pattern. This is quilted to fire-resistant rayon (infused with silica) and quilting foam.

Paramount Sleep's iGravity Collection is not as widely available as some of their other collections, such as GoodNite and Dr. Maas. iGravity mattresses are covered with a 20-year warranty.
