PedicSolutions Radiance 10" Memory Foam Mattress
The PedicSolutions Radiance Memory Foam Mattress is one of the PedicSolutions® mattress models available on the shopping network QVC and online at their website (PedicSolutions® is a house brand of QVC). The Radiance is currently offered only in the 10-inch height. According to QVC, "This mattress combines open cell memory foam and high-performance support foam for incredible comfort. . . The Radiance 10" deep memory foam mattress delivers the supportive cushioning you crave for a price you won't lose sleep over." It is available in the following sizes: Twin, Full, Queen, King, and Cal King.
The PedicSolutions Radiance 10" Memory Foam Mattress has two layers. The 3-inch top layer consists of ventilated open cell memory foam. The key feature of memory foam is that it conforms to the body shape of the sleeper. PedicSolutions claims that its memory foam is high density, giving it "a faster recovery factor" than lower density foams. Open cell structured memory foam is pourous, allowing air to percolate through it, countering the tendency of this type of foam to build up heat. This provides a cooler sleeping experience than the original memory foam did. In the Radiance, this cooling effect is further enhanced by ventilation.
The 7-inch lower layer of the PedicSolutions Radiance Memory Foam Mattress is composed of high density supporting foam. This is to provide sure support for the top layer and the sleeper. It prevents the sagging which would occur with memory foam alone. It also resists transfer of motion from one sleeper to the other.
The top of the four-way-stretch zippered jacquard knit cover of the PedicSolutions Radiance 10" Memory Foam Mattress is made from a blend of polyester (98.6%) and spandex (1.4%), and the suede-textured sides are 100% polyester. The white top has a knitted-in floral pattern. Although the cover is zippered, removal for cleaning is not recommended. Spot cleaning is advised.
