According to QVC, sleeping on the PedicSolutions Silver Cloud 13" Memory Foam Mattress is "like sleeping on a cloud." The basis for this claim is the quilted plush cover atop the memory foam, combinng softness with the firm support of the base foam.
The top cover of the PedicSolutions Silver Cloud 13" Memory Foam Mattress is 100% polyester double-knit stretch fabric quilted to several layers of soft foam, adding 11/2 inches of cushioning loft to the mattress. Besides cushioning, the quilted cover also helps to cool the sleepers.
The 4" top layer of the PedicSolutions Silver Cloud 13" Memory Foam Mattress is actually a double layer. It is 2 inches each of 4-lb. and 5-lb. memory foam. The open-cell structure of this foam regulates the heat build-up, providing a cooling effect. The double layer combines a softer feel with conforming support. This is supposed to relieve pressure points, such as on the hips, shoulders and legs.
Beneath the memory foam double layer is 71/2" of high density support base foam. This not only provides more support, it also prevents memory foam sagging, which should produce more comfort by improving spinal posture.
The PedicSolutions Silver Cloud 13-inch Memory Foam Mattress is single-sided, meanning it does not have to be flipped. It carries a 15-year Limited Manufacturer's Warranty and is made in the USA.
