Perfect Day iSeries under the
iSeries brand of hybrid mattresses by
Serta.
Perfect Day collection, like the other
iSeries collections, features
Serta's
iSeries® Technology, combining
Cool Action™ gel memory foam, the
Duet® Coil individually wrapped coil-in-coil support system, and the
Continuous Comfort quilted cover.
Continuous Comfort is a cover which keeps the sleeper close to the
Cool Action™ gel memory foam. The breathable
cotton-
polyester knit cover fabric is quilted with fire blocking fibers for certified flammability resistance.
The support for the
Perfect Day Celebration models comes from the
Duet® Coil individually wrapped coil-in-coil innerspring.
Duet® Coils are 2-in-1 dual coils. Each dual coil has a smaller, separately wrapped coil inside a larger wrapped coil. The taller coil, which has fewer turns, responds first. When the smaller coil is reached, resistance increases. This provides an initially soft feel with underlying deep support. Being pocket coils, support conforms to the shape and weight of sleepers' bodies. With dual coils, it also adjusts to individual sleepers, regardless of how much or little they weigh. This innerspring also dampens motion transfer.
The comfort level of
Perfect Day iSeries Celebration Firm and
Celebration Plush is determined by the comfort layers. These two models share a 1" top layer of
Cool Action™ gel memory foam, with cushioning, cradling conformity and gel cooling. Below this, the
Celebration Firm has another 1" of
Serta® Comfort Foam (a memory foam without gel) and 2" of high IFD
Serta® Support Foam, while the
Celebration Plush has 2.75" of
Serta® Comfort Foam. The comfort level of
Celebration Firm is medium plush, and that of
Celebration Plush is extra firm.
Perimeter support for the
Duet® Coil innerspring and edge support for the sleeping surface comes from the
BestEdge® foam encasement. This holds the dual pocket coils in place and supports the entire sleeping surface.
Although the
Perfect Day iSeries Celebration models can be used with a well-designed box spring,
Serta suggests using an adjustable bed, such as their
Motion Perfect® Adjustable Foundation.
The
Perfect Day iSeries Celebration Firm and
Celebration Plush have a 120-day in-home trial period and carry a 25-year limited warranty. They are available through several retailers across the country and online.
