Perfect Day iSeries Recognition Super Pillow Top
The Recognition Super Pillow Top is the second highest model in the Perfect Day iSeries by Serta. Like the rest of the Perfect Day mattresses, Recognition features Serta's iSeries Technology. This is the combination of two Serta features: Cool Action Gel memory foam and Duet™ Coil individually wrapped innerspring support system. According to Serta, "This results in a sleep system with intelligent cradling and cooling comfort at the sleep surface and exceptional individual support for each sleep partner."

Cool Action Gel is memory foam infused with Serta's MicroSupport™ Gel, microencapsulated beads of gel designed to draw heat away from the sleeping surface to dissipate. The gel also adds its own supportive properties to the memory foam.

The Duet™ Coil innerspring consists of dual pocket coils, a 2-in-1 system of coil-within-coil, with a coil count of 924 dual coils. As pocket coils, each dual coil reacts independently to weight placed on it, which conforms the support to the weight and contours of a sleeper's body. Since one coil pair is not pulled down by its neighbor, motion from one sleeping partner is not transferred to the other, minimizing sleep disturbance.

The added value of the Duet™ Coil system is the coil-in-coil design. The taller outer coil is more responsive to provide a cushioning feel. The shorter inner coil is firmer to provide underlying support. The outer coils are better for lightweight users, while the inner coils support heavier people. Therefore, this arrangement accomodates a couple with widely differing body sizes.

The Recognition is a super pillowtop mattress. With the extra foam in the comfort layers and the quilted pillow top, this 13½" Perfect Day iSeries model is plush, 8 on a scale of 10.

The knit jersey cover fabric is quilted with FireBlock, Pillo-Fill fibers, and 1½" of Serta Comfort Foam. The super pillow top has 2" of Kool Comfort memory foam (ventilated for air flow) and 1" of Comfort Foam. An innerpanel separates the pillow top from the comfort layers below it.

The comfort layers of the Serta Perfect Day iSeries Recognition Super Pillow Top consist of two 1" layers of Cool Action Gel memory foam.

The Recognition Super Pillow Top mattress is foam encased with Serta's BestEdge Foam Encased Edge Support, which is to provide perimeter support for the Duet™ Coil individually wrapped innerspring support system and edge support for the sleeping surface.

The foundation for the Recognition can be the Serta StabL Base Foundation with V-shape and double-beam design, or the Motion Perfect Adjustable Base. The StabL Base comes in 9" Standard height or 5¼" Low Profile.

All Perfect Day iSeries models, including the Recognition Super Pillow Top, come with a 120-day sleep trial period and a 25-year limited warranty. They are available through several retailers, nationwide and online.
