Perfect Sleeper SmartSurface Highfield Plush
Highfield Plush is the third
SmartSurface model listed by
Serta. The
SmartSurface Collection models are
innerspring mattresses under
Serta's
Perfect Sleeper brand. The other two models in this collection are
Highfield Super Pillow Top and
Highfield Firm. All three models share the 814-count Free Flex continuous coil innerspring and the SmartSurface top cover technology.
Free Flex was developed from
Serta's
Continuous Support innerspring. The
continuous coils have been made more conforming than the original design. Also, the
TrueSense design has 25% more support in the center section for the heaviest part of the body.
On the top of the
Highfield Plush, the
cover fabric is a blend of
polyester, lycra, and
rayon. This is quilted with
FireBlocker for safety. Other materials are
Body Loft microbe-inhibiting quilting fibers and
Serta's
PillowSoft foam. Taken together, this is the
SmartSurface Technology.
The middle section of the
Highfield Plush mattress is 2" of
PillowSoft foam and
Cool Twist gel memory foam on a
Serta®
Insulator Pad. In comparison to the
Highfield Firm, this difference on comfort level is determined by the foam: 2" of
PillowSoft vs. 1" each of
PillowSoft and the firmer
Support Foam.
The
Highfield Plush is compatible with
platform beds, such as
Serta's
StabL-Base double-beam
foundation, and
adjustable beds, such as
Serta's
Motion Perfect Essentials Adjustable Base. The
Motion Perfect, made by
Ergomotion, is the one
Serta recommends. The
StabL-Base is available in two heights: 9" Standard or 5" Low Profile.
The
Highfield Plush is sold through several retailers, national and local, both in store and online. It is covered by
Serta's 20-year limited Warranty.
