Posturepedic Hybrid Trust Cushion Firm
At 11½" high, the
Trust Cushion Firm is the lowest model in the
Posturepedic Hybrid Series made by mattress manufacturer
Sealy. It has a cushion firm comfort level (4 on a scale of 10). It is a hybrid mattress: half
innerspring and half
memory foam.
The support core of the
Posturepedic Hybrid Trust consists of individually encased titanium alloy
Apex™ HS pocket coils (825 in queen size). Since they respond independently, these
coils conform to the body for pressure relief and dampen motion transfer to minimize partner disturbance.
Support for the sleeping surface comes from the
SolidEdge™
HD System, a heavy-duty foam encasement to prevent roll-offs, make the entire surface usable, and allow you to sit on the edge comfortably.
The center third of the comfort core is the
CoreSupport Center™. Sealy says this is "power-packed" to provide extra support to the heaviest areas of the body.
The
cover of the
Trust Cushion Firm is
ForeverFlex™ Fabric, a super-stretch knit described as "body-hugging." It is paired with 1" of
OptiCool®, a
memory foam infused with
gel and fused to
Outlast.
Outlast was developed for the space program to control temperatures. It does this with
phase change materials.
The transition
foam just above the coils is a 2" layer of
SuperSoft ActiveFlex. This foam is highly resilient yet very soft.
The
foundations the
Posturepedic Hybrid Trust Cushion Firm is compatible with are
platforms and
adjustable beds (such as the
Reflexion 4). The
StayTight™ foundation cover keeps the matress from slipping and the sheets in place.
The
Trust Cushion Firm is warrantied for 10 years by
