Pure Latex Bliss Hybrid Mattresses
Pure Latex Bliss Hybrid Mattresses is the second of the three Pure Latex Bliss mattress collections. The other two are Natural and All Natural. In this collection, "Latex Hybrid" is Talalay latex infused with gel to achieve a cooling effect similar to that of gel memory foam, but with more durability.

There are eight models in the Latex Hybrid collection: Mezzanine, Infuse, Transfusion, Charm, Invite, Celebrate, and Entice. Four are 9" high, two 11", and two 13". Each mattress consists of two bonded Talalay latex layers. The top layer is the pressure-relieving latex hybrid. The bottom layer is the firmer support latex. The four 9" mattresses differ in the relative thicknesses of the two layers.

Each of the Latex Hybrid mattresses is rated as either "slow response" or "fast response" in regards to the feel of the latex. According to Latex International, the manufacturer of the latex (and the parent company of Pure Latex Bliss), "Fast Response feels just like our Talalay Classic while Slow Response offers a unique feel that doesnʼt “crater” like Memory Foam."

The eight Pure Latex Bliss Hybrid models range in plushness from 1 to 9 on a scale of 10, with 1 being the firmest and 10 being the softest. The "slow response" mattresses have the lower plushness and the "fast response" the higher.

The cover material and the top layer of latex in the Latex Bliss Hybrid mattresses contain phase change materials. These microencapsulated substances change their physical state when above or below a selected temperature range. When warmer than the top temperature in the range, they liquify, absorbing the excess heat. When cooler than the bottom temperature, they solidify, releasing heat. The intended effect is to keep the temperature of the sleeping surface of the mattress within the range of comfort, not too warm and not too cool.

According to the "Care Info" tabs on the Pure Latex Bliss mattress descriptions, "Our Latex HYBRID Collection does not have removable or washable zippered covers."
