The Nutrition - Talalay Active by Pure Talalay Bliss (PTB) is an upgrade ot Pure Latex Bliss's Nutrition in the former Natural Mattresses Collection. Both are 11" all-latex mattresses with three layers. This mattress is just on the firm side of Medium.
All three layers of the Nutrition Talalay Active are Talalay latex. The major upgrade is in the top layer. This is PTB's ActiveFusion latex, the same as Celsion made and sold by PTB's parent company, Talalay Global (formerly Latex International). It is Talalay latex fused with phase change materials (PCMs). PCMs keep temperatures within a prescribed range by changing their physical state to absorb heat at the top of the range and release heat at the bottom.
The 3" high ActiveFusion Talalay is the comfort layer. Just below it the 2" high pressure relief layer with medium to medium firm Talalay latex.
The support base of the Nutrition Talalay Active is Talalay support foam, a very firm version of this foam. This core is 6" high, making it more than half the total mattress height.
If the mattress is a bit too firm, a Talalay latex topper can be put on top. Pure Talalay Bliss sells 2" and 3" toppers. Each is available as either Firm or Plush.
The unquilted knit cover of the Nutrition Talalay Active is removeable so it can be cleaned. The sculpted knit pattern is called Luxury Wave of Comfort.
The Nutrition Talalay Active comes with a 15-year non-prorated warranty from Pure Talalay Bliss.
