The Dream Mattress is the 10" middle model of the Dream Mattress Series of independent response latex mattresses by Reverie, a major manufacturer of adjustable beds. This series of mattresses was designed by Reverie with the innovative DreamCell technology to complement their adjustable foundations.
DreamCells are cylinders of natural latex used as the support for the Dream Series mattresses. About a hand's width, they are placed in a grid within a foam encasement in the support core. Each DreamCell is one of 4 firmness levels. Each level is color-coded to guide in placement (pink=extra-soft, blue=soft, green=medium, yellow=firm) to achieve the overall firmness level ordered by the customer. This level can be set separately for the right and left sides of the bed. Later, as needs change, the owner can reconfigure the level and pattern of support by rearranging and/or replacing DreamCells.
The natural fibers cover of the Dream Mattress has a zipper, which allows the user to reconfigure the support. This cover fabric is breathable and resistant to microbes.
Just above the DreamCell support core is a quilted transition pad. On top of this is a comfort layer of ventilated natural rubber (also called natural latex). These, like all materials in the Reverie Dream Mattress, are breathable. This lets air filter through the mattress to cool it. Keeping the sleeping surface cool (not too warm) is important for quality sleep.
Reverie pairs the Dream Mattress with its 5D Deluxe Adjustable Foundation for the Dream Sleep System. The Dream Mattress carries Reverie's limited lifetime warranty. This coverage includes full replacement from the first through fifth years.
