Revive Memory Foam Mattresses

Revive Memory Foam Mattresses is the first collection of Sleepharmony mattresses listed by Glideaway Bed Carriage Manufacturing Company, a St. Louis based bedding products manufacturer and distributor. Currently, there are only three memory foam mattress models in this series: Energy+ (10" Medium-Firm), Vitality (12" Plush), and Invigorate (14" Luxury-Plush). Key features in each of these models are the Air+ Performance fabric in the cover, Feran Ice® Technology, Silpure, and Performance Memory Foam.

The first two key features are in the cover. Air+ Performance fabric is structured to allow "air to escape from the mattress." It also lets fresh air enter. This internal/external air circulation cools the mattress as needed. It also vents moisture to keep the mattress interior dry and fresh.

Feran Ice® Technology is a treatment developed by the Rudolf Group (RG). According to RG, it is a "Wash-resistant hydrophilic finishing agent and soil release product for synthetic fibres." The three primary benefits are: (1) it makes the fabric stain-resistant and more easily cleanable; (2) it helps the fabric to be anti-static; and (3) it carries moisture away. The third benefit means that this has a drying and cooling effect on the sleeping surface of the mattress.

Silpure, produced by Ultra Fresh, is another fabric treatment. The silver in Silpure, in the form of super fine crystals, serves as an anti-microbial agent. According to Ultra Fresh, "Through careful control of the size and shape of the particles during production, Silpure avoids the fabric discoloration that can occur with other silver antimicrobial products." Besides mattress covers, Silpure is also used in sportswear, underwear, towels and upholstery.

The definitive feature of Revive Memory Foam Mattresses is the Performance Memory Foam. Sub-varieties of this memory foam in the Revive models are Advantage Plus and EliteCore/Ergo Premier. Advantage Plus is described as "plush but supportive." And Ergo Premier is touted as "the highest performing foam available, providing total body conformance with a subtle, yet ultra firm, support." According to Glideaway, it increases the mattress support by 25%, "ultra firm support without the ultra-firm feel."

Each of the three Revive Memory Foam Mattress models has a support core of Body Support Base Foam. In the Energy+ and Vitality this core is 7" high, while it is 5" in the Invigorate.

Other foams are used in the higher two models. Vitality has 2" of Purelex Foam, a latex material. It is used to add a springy response. Invigorate adds 2" of Glideaway's Gentle Support Transition Foam, with a support level intermediate between the Body Support Base Foam and the Elite Core/Ergo Premier Memory Foam.

Revive Memory Foam Mattresses and their foundations can be placed on a Glideaway Bed Frame. The requisite foundation for a memory foam mattress provides flat and firm support. This is supplied by a Glideaway steel bed frame foundation. The mattresses can also be used on any of the adjustable beds distributed by Glideaway. Of course, these mattresses can be used with other foundations and frames meeting the same requirements.

Revive Memory Foam Mattresses are covered by a 25 Year Limited Warranty by Glideaway Bed Carriage Manufacturing Company.
